The Greater King David Nursery Preschool Academy, a class A rated facility with equal employment opportunity, opened June 5, 1995.

 

The school was conceived by a group of church members who saw the need to provide a child care facility for the children of our church and community. Using Proverbs 22:6,” Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart, “as our Mission Statement.

 

All staff members of the school are CPR certified and must receive continuous education training though the Department of Family and Children Service and Volunteers of America, annually.

 

Children ages 2 through 5 years of age begin each day with a Bible based devotional class. The school’s goal is to develop the whole child through Spiritual, Socio- Environmental Cognitive, Listening, Visual, Mathematics and Physical Activities. Two meals and a snack are provided daily.

 

Children are grouped by the following ages:

 

Infants- 2 months- 1 year

Toddlers 1 year- 15 months

Toddlers 15 months- 2 years

2 year old class

2 ½ - 3 year old class

3 - 4 year old

4-5 year old - Pre Kindergarten class

 

Field trips and special programs are provided during the school year.  E.B.R. public library provides story time once a month.  The school’s schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
