The Senior Center continues to provide activities and nourishment for our seniors Monday- Friday at the church Annex Building located 131 Elmer Avenue. The Center partners with the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging and provides hot meals daily. They also assist with shots to ensure that our Seniors stay healthy. Rates

Education and Culture Center rental rates for facilities are outlined on the Education and Culture Center Rate Sheet. The requesting organization’s booking status determines the 8-hour day flat rate assigned to the event. The scope and complexity of the proposed event determines the number of staff and the amount of time required for setting up and running the show. Please consult with our staff for estimating your costs.

Security (Optional)

The safety and security of our guests is our first responsibility. Therefore, for each event the Baton Rouge City Police will issue a security plan which will stipulate the number of officers, their deployment, and the hours they will be required to be on duty.

Equipment and Times

In order to prepare for your event, Education and Culture Center staff must have adequate notice of your needs. Equipment or arrangements not requested in advance may not be provided. Last minute changes in the schedule, equipment, or arrangements on the event may not be accommodated due to unavailability of equipment or staff.

Food Catering

Greater King David Education and Culture Center has an optional contract for catering services with our fully functional kitchen with industry standard equipment cooking staff.  It is their decision whether or not to provide food and beverages. Education and Culture Center does not have an alcoholic beverage license with the State of Louisiana, therefore no alcohol can be served.

Equipment and Staffing

The facilities and furnishings available for the Education and Culture Center are limited to those furnished in support of its Education and Culture Services mission. Special event needs such as special lighting and enhanced audio capacities will be included in rate if requested.
