“Soulja fa Lyfe” he felt the epic street lifestyle of rap suited him. From there, Justin became known as “Jigg” and the New Orleans, Louisiana native knew what he was destined to become.

Born on April 23, 1980, and raised in the Kennedy Heights projects of New Orleans one of the roughest areas of the city he quickly had to adjust the addictive lifestyle of the streets. Justin was only 14 years old when he realized music was his calling. At 16, he wrote his first rap and he has been writing ever since, this time releasing music for his hip-hop tracks & mix-tapes.

Growing up in the streets of New Orleans quickly became his inspiration for the lyrics he rappedabout. The streets knew Justin as Jigg but it was a close friend by the name of Joey Queens the CEO of Trap Inc Music, that gave him the name “Star” which he combined to be called “Jigg Star

The streets of New Orleans is where he gained the experience and traveling with former Cash Money artist Juvenile & opening up shows for him is how he developed into a artist. under the watch of other local rappers in which he began to open up shows and travel with. What changed his music was the minor setback early in his career & the death of his a close family member which allowed him to become lyrically a stronger artist and one of the best at his craft.
